5. Data Deletion Process

When we receive your data deletion request, we will:

1. Verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate
2. Process your request within 30 days
3. Permanently delete your personal data from our active systems
4. Ensure the data is also removed from our backups within 90 days
5. Send you confirmation when the deletion process is complete

6. Data Retention Required by Law

In some cases, we may be legally required to retain certain information for specific periods, even after you request deletion. We will only retain the specific data required by law and only for the required retention period. All other personal data will be deleted as requested.

7. Third-Party Data

If you connected your account using Facebook or shared FlashQuizAI content on Facebook:

• We will stop using any data received from Facebook upon your request for deletion
• We will delete all personal information provided by Facebook from our active systems
• Facebook may retain data in their systems according to their own data retention policies
